FOR KAROL ANN
Created By: JULIE ANN SMITH
I'm a bead designer and I've been selling my patterns and lampwork beads over the internet since it's inseption. Over the years I've made many friends far and wide...and thanks to the INTERNET, I've been able to become close with many.
Karol Ann has been a customer of mine for about 7 years now. One day she wrote and told me she had breast cancer. She was to have a biopsy to see just "where" she was. They found a tumor and removed it...but she continued to have problems. My heart was just BLEEDING inside because I could not be there for her. I saw your PRAYER SHAWL ministry book and said, "this is what I can do to BE THERE for Karol Ann".
So I whipped up a shawl in pink and white and sent it to her as soon as possible. She wore it and soon her wound began to heal. She had a few treatments and carried it and wore it wherever she went.
As time went on, she was healed (PRAISE GOD)from her cancer and during those dark days, she became friends with many others like her. One friend in particular was really not doing well, and Karol Ann wrote and told me that she passed on the shawl to her.
You see, during the making of that shawl, each stitch had prayer in it. I was praying and singing JOY and HEALING that whoever wore it would be saved. I had no idea that when I did make it, it would be "sought after" time and again.
So from afar, healing can come in the form of little stitches of love....of course, God was in the middle of the shawl and wherever it is now, I'm sure, HE is still there!
Thank you for allowing me to share my story with you!
Blessings of love!!

P.S. I've even designed my own shawls.
