PRAYER KNITS

I got the idea from the prayer shawl ministry that I could make everything I knit, "Prayer Knits". I have been knitting since I was 14. Now I am retired and I knit every day. I placed my knitting in a little consignment shop here in River Falls, WI. I sell everything at yarn cost or less and I attach a note on each sweater, scarf, mittens, slippers, shawls and more. People have commented that they love that I pray while I knit. My tag says "My knitting is a gift from God. I pray silently for healing as I knit so that every item will be a blessing to the one who wears or uses it." I hope this qualifies as Prayer Shawl Ministry. Also, I use Lion Brand yarn almost all the time. It is my very favorite.
