Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,
particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was

Our Church (Emmanuel Episcopal Church) has a Ministry called Helping Hands. We make PRAYER SHAWLS, LAP ROBES AND LAP QUILTS for anyone going through a hard time. It can be a person with an illness, or operation or a caregiver. They do not have to be members of our church. We just recently started distributing to Hospic for their patients who are in the later stages of life. It has brought the women of our church closer together in a common cause - that is doing for others in their time of need. We accompany each item with a little prayer card and each item is done with a prayer and
Father Steve says a prayer with us before we deliver it. We meet once a month and do the work at home at our leisure. There is such satisfaction for us as seniors to be able to continue our skill and doing it for others. We are teaching our young members of the parish to knit and crochet.
