Power in Prayer and Knitting

Mine is not a ministry per say but I feel knitting a shawl has healing power. In the last 2 years I have knit a shawl using Michelle Edwards' pattern for two ladies diognosed with breast cancer. When they were given these shawls I told them there was a prayer in every stitch. Today they have both been given a cancer free bill of health after going through radiation and chemo. I now have another family member I have to get knitting and praying for.
I have a male friend who was given a very dismal diagnoses; for him a pair of socks with a prayer in every stitch. He has worn those socks to every prcedure and treatment. Today he is healthy and happy and the first to say it is all in the socks and his doctors agree. There is power in prayer and knitting.
