My husband and I were visiting our family in the state of CA (we are from PA) last Christmas. We had some time to do some leisure window shopping in downtown San Luis Obispo one afternoon after Christmas. The weather was lovely. It was so sunny and we had such a pleasant family time. We meandered into a craft and yarn shop there, called "Beverly's" and we spied some Lion Brand Homespun yarn and a free pattern that was accessible right next to all the beautiful colors of the Homespun yarn. My granddaughter, Amy, gasped when she saw the blue version of the yarn. She loved the hooded sweater pattern that was advertised using this yarn. I bought enough for a sweater for her and at the end of our family vacation, flew back home to PA and began knitting. It was SO EASY to make! I had it done in just a few days. I mailed the sweater to my daughter and my granddaughter was just tickled to pieces to get her sweater with her precious hood! Here is a great picture of how much she enjoys her Homespun hooded sweater with the yarn from Lion Brand!
