This is my very own design for an oversized fall and winter shrug. I chose Lion Brand Color waves yarn in the Pebble Beach color for nice muted warm tones for my shrug. I was really quite pleased with how the colors tuned out in the final piece. I made this one just for me for those chilly nights I spend on the porch talking to my husband and enjoying a hot cup of tea.
It’s really just an extremely long rectangle in stockinette stitch and then sewn closed from the ends a bit to create sleeves. It’s not a very difficult project but it is very time consuming.
I now make these and sell them using all sorts of yarn per request. It’s an enjoyable project and VERY warm and comfortable.
