Customer Projects - Get Inspired
Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,
particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was
made from Lion Brand Yarn.

Sisters in Christ for the Needy

Four years ago, after deciding I had knitted and crocheted many items for my children and 17 grandchildren, I had run out of people to knit and crochet for. It came to me, then, that there are many people who do need and would appreciate home made items. I asked our pastor if I could start a group for ladies who were in the same situation as I. At first there were only two of us meeting but then now the group has mushroomed to 15 regulars. We donate blankets to our wounded military soldiers, Indian reservations, the Appalachian Mountain Ministries, and several other outreaches. We bring refreshments,pour over new patterns, and even teach others knitting and crochet skills. We also have ladies who prefer to make quilts and they are most welcome. We share our life stories; we munch; we laugh; and we have an over all grand time, all the while creating items for the needy.
