I can't remember when I couldn't knit or crochet; my mother taught me when I was young. However, what with family and job and all it had been years since I held a needle of any kind.
Two years ago I finally did a smart thing (for me)and joined Alcoholics Anonymous. A couple days later my daughter announced her impending marriage AND an impending grandchild! Well, there's only one way to respond to a triple whammy like that: I found my needles and spent a small fortune on yarn from Ebay, and I haven't stopped knitting since.
And it's Heaven.
