Memories of GrandmaW

I was raised by my grandmother, and when I was about ten she taught me how to knit and crochet. We would sit together, sometime in thought about our projects and sometimes talking about different things.
She was a patient teacher and I a fumbling beginner, but her persistance gave me a valuable skill that I cherish still today at 55 years old. She always use to tell me that if you make a mistake, even one that the unfamiliar eye could not see, you should correct it because you know it is there.
To this day as I work on projects and ask myself...can I escape this mistake, my answer is no you know it is there so fix it. She is always with me her love and her lessons are forever a part of me... and some of that goes into all the things I make. In this way I share this wonderful lady with all who recieve our gifts.
