The Toe up Sock

I have always crocheted, but always dreamed of knitting socks, go figure. Then one day I happened to read about a knitting class on knitting a Toe up Sock. I knew the basics of knitting, but I could read a pattern at all.
So I decided to take the class with my oldest daughter. It was an amazing thing. The women the taught the class was telling us that if you could knit a sock you could knit anything.
She taught me how to knit this amazing pattern from the toe up. I loved the experience so much that I have now knitted several pairs of sock and many xmas stockings from this pattern.
I have moved on to making Felt Hats, Sweaters and more, because of this experience I have joyed a knitters group with many women and men and the learning experience and stories are so wonderful it has gave me back the confidence that I had lost a few years ago, that I am now opening up a small shop out of my home. To be a knitter and crocheter is a wonderful experience.
