Prayer Shawl Ministry

Every few weeks members of our prayer shawl ministry meet at church to knit or crochet prayer shawls with Lion Brand Homespun yarn. We share such a wonderfully meaningful time that I wrote a poem to capture ithe moments.
Candles cast light in the beginning,
Members bow their heads in prayer.
Knitting needles click in cadence,
Yarn cascades to the floor,
Webs of wool spin from caring hands.
Lattices of twisted thread craft
Promises of comfort,
Blessings intertwine with shawl fibers.
Members consecrate their caring connection,
Closing with benediction.
Thank you for producing such wonderful yarn and shuch an excellent website.
