A late learner

When I was in my 30's I went to work in a Nursing Home. There was a lady there who crochetted most of every day. Each day I would see how her afghan grew. Finally I asked her to show me how. She only did the ripple stitch and I have made many afghans over the years, all the same stitch but in many different colors. Some I sold and most I give away.
Now I am 74 and have just learned to knit. I go to a class at the Senior center and started making preemie hats for the hospital. I just finished the cable scarf from the pattern that came with your news letter for Father's day. It was so much fun. I have finally learned how to read directions and have also made 3 prs. of mittens. A whole new world has opened up to me.
I love your homespun yarn and the
Woolease chunky. I just bought some Thick and Quick also. I think I am addicted to knitting. Thank you!
