A Grandmother's Legacy

It wasn't until I was an adult that I learned my Grandmother had health problems. I have the most wonderful memories of my Grandmother. She would spend every other Saturday teaching me all kinds of crafts. I learned to knit, crochet, cross stich, sew and cook. My Grandmother had so much patience. I was a clumsy child and my yarn always got tangled and my grandma would encurage me to untangle and start over again. I spent most of my teenage years cross stiching but with the birth of my children I wanted to crochet and knit again. I discovered I am not so clumsy and I have made many beautiful items. Every time I pick up my needles or hooks I think of my Grandmother and thank her for taking the time to teach me.
