Customer Projects - Get Inspired
Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care

A way to give back

In May of 2006 the ladies in my church decided to start a Prayershawl Ministry. We only had five ladies that could knit or crochet. We meet every Thursday night for two hours making shawls and baby blankets, labrobes, squares for our troops in Iraq.
We have made over 225 shawls and over 20 baby blankets since we started the group.
We get praise reports all the time back from those who've been blessed by receiving a shawl.
We thank Lion Brand and the Prayer/shawl Ministry for all the help we've received from their patterns and ideas.
It's such a blessing doing for others and volunteering our time and money to such a good cause. I also deliver meals for Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, SC. That's another rewarding experience. I give prayershawls to my recipients on my route
