I was searching for a baby blanket pattern to knit for an upcoming baby shower, but I just couldn't find one that combined all the elements I wanted: simple but elegant design, colorful but no pastels, and affordable to make. So using 5 of the new colors of Lion Brand Cotton-Ease and ideas from several different patterns, I made up my own Color Block Baby Blanket.
