I taught myself to knit.
Created By: Brenda R. Shoemaker
I first tried to crochet, but that didn't work out so well, so I was watching DIY and saw a show on knitting, I was hooked. So I watched the show and bought books on kitting. I taught myself how to knit, and it did take a while but I didn't give up. My first project was a scarf for my great-niece and it was a k-2, p-2 pattern and I was so proud of myself and my niece loved it . Then I did a baby sweater that was from a 1940's pattern, that was fun and it felt rewarding after I was done. I'm still knitting and trying to make money from this most favorite hobbie I have ever had. My oldest sister,Cathy, is going to teach me how to crochet very soon so I can do both on projects and I want to learn how to do the hairpin lace crochet because that is beautiful and I want to mix it with my knitting. This is a hobbie I will teach my granddaughter when she gets older( she's only 2 months old). Thank You.
