Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,
particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was

Giving Back to the World

I love to volunteer by helping others. I a with two wonderful groups, Warming Families and Sheila's Shawls. We make warm blankets to give to shelters, missions, nursing homes and foster homes. I love to share with others my gift of crocheting. I have been crocheting since I can remember. Seeing someone who is ill receive a shawl or someone in a shelter get a warm blanket really makes my day. I think we should all volunteer our love of the craft of knitting or crocheting by making something and donating it to someone who really could use our help. I also asks my group to sign up to send me shawls to donate to a terminally ill person. I have 17 women sign up on my yahoo group and they love to help others in need. So do something that will make you feel like a million dollars by giving something you made with your own hands to them. Lion Brand has generously donated to Warming Families by sending us their over stocked yarn. I would like to thank them for helping my group help others when they need it. Love Claudia Duran
