Afghans for everyone!

I have been knitting and crocheting since I was a young girl. I even had a small business ten years ago where I would be commissioned to make afghans, sweaters and other projects for people. However I did not find it very profitable and now just do it for the pleasure. Since I work in Finance and have a very stressful job, to go home and work on one of my projects is just what the doctor ordered. My soon to be husband and I bought a house in the mountains in New Jersey and it gets very cold in the winter. Once friends and neighbors saw my afghans, not only was I given presents of yarns but the requests came in. I have become very popular. I gave one of our friends one of my old afghans and his son claimed it as his own. Everytime he gets stressed, his father says he walks around the house with the afghan wrapped around him. He also uses it every night as a blanket. So knitting and crocheting has helped me in so many ways and also helped friends. It makes me feel great!
