One Little Cap
Created By: L Linda
I really wanted to knit. There was no one to teach me. What to do? I found a kit that contained a skein of yarn an instruction book and wooden knitting needles.Since I had a little girl I picked the garter stitch cap to make. One day while shopping for food she dropped it somewhere in the store. When I realized it was gone I had them announce it over the PA system so people could be on the lookout for it, no way was I leaving that store without the cap.To make a long story short years later I opened my own yarn shop where I taught others to knit, crochet and also weave. My husband and I are retired now but I still knit and do needle point.Warpping the loom has become hard on my back so I don't do that so much anymore. My husband says I changed other lives too because they learned to knit, crochet and weave.
