Grandmother's pleasure

Working with your hands is probably the most comforting way to solve a day's problem and to forget tomorrow's dilema. With six grandaughters, I have the pleasure of making them smile whenever I receive that most important request to make an outfit for Samantha or Emily etc. ( the American Girl Doll). Sitting, watching the Red Sox, I could probably to it blindfolded, I will crochet a poncho that is so easy, it takes about an hour, then there's a cute hat, tam or bonnet to match. They make quite an outfit. With some of the easy doll patterns, you can easily make a pair of matching pants. Just cut out the pattern, and if you don't have a sewing machine, simply join by needle and strong thread. It will work and you'll be famous overnight. These little outfits would bring a nice price at the school fairs or to raise money for your forite charity. Best of Luck!
