Momma and Me

I have been crocheting 25+ years, thanks to my Mother. She was a self taught crocheter and taught herself to read the directions. That was one thing she made sure I learned as she taught me the stitches. We sat many nights sharing a TV show and crocheting. I have numerous items that my mother made from bedspread cotton. I have made afghans, doileys, wall hangings and baby blankets. My Momma passed away several years ago, but I carry on with my crocheting. I also work full time and have a 13 year old daughter. Crocheting is my therapy after working all day and taking care of the other issues of the day. I crochet for at least half an hour to an hour every day. I thank God everyday for the time with my Momma and the joy we shared crocheting, I hope one day my daughter will decide to take it up so that I can pass it along to her.
