How the Hobby of Knitting turned into extra money.

My hobby of knitting and crocheting, of which I have been doing for 50 yrs, really came in handy when my husband died in 2004. I have made my self and the complete family things for years for gift, their houses are stuffed. I kept making thing giving them to poor folks, homeless people, children's homes, whoever would take them through the years. Then I started my own business to sell my things in 2004, and went around to mom and pop stores to put things on consignment. Well all together money and orders came in and things sure took off. I'm still a small business but a school department wants mittens this year for their school catalog to sell, 100 pairs, all the same color and size, of coarse they get a discount, but just look at how many more folks will see my work. The idea here is NEVER give up on what you love doing.
