How Crochet Changed My Life.

I had always wanted to learn to crochet and so I bought a "Learn to Crochet book" and taught myself how. I found it to be a very relaxing way for me to unwind after a hard day at work, while also letting me enjoy the rewards of my efforts. I have been crocheting for about 30 years now and have made many things for my loved ones from scarves to blankets, baby items and table center pieces. I like to crochet while driving with my hubby to visit friends or while traveling to our vacation destination. Now I've noticed that my two great nieces are taking an interest in what I'm doing when working on a project so I'm going to teach them also. Being able to see a finished project is so satisfying and rewarding but even more so when it is given with love to another to enjoy. I am so glad I took the time to teach myself this great craft that has given me such joy and taught me to have the patience to stick with something till I perfected it. This is something we who can crochet should pass on to others so they too can experience the pride it gives us to do something for others. It has given me peace, joy and years of contentment and I love it.
