I made a Japanese Kimono using Moonlight Mohair yarn by Lion Brand. I am just wild about this yarn! It is so soft and the colors are almost magical with that twist of glitz that comes shimmering through the bloom of the mohair.

I started my kimono over a year ago. I worked on it till late spring, then I set it aside when the weather got hot. I finally picked it up again during the winter this year and finished it up. I love the way it hangs and moves when I wear it, but most of all I love the way it feels on me - so soft and so warm. The photos are of me wearing this kimono. If you decide to use this project, I can have my husband take a better photo of the front as this one the color squares are not aligned. I will gladly get another photo so the color squares are hanging across from each other as they really are. You can just let me know.

In the other two photos, I am making dish cloths and dish towels to give as Christmas gifts later this year. You can see my progress. I love working from the cones. You get so many things out of just one cone and it is so convenient to use the cones. I absolutely love them.
