I converted a knitted dressing gown to crochet using Lion Brand Microspun and came up with what's shown in the picture. The Microspun was a great choice for this project as it's soft and has a nice sheen and is machine washable. This dressing gown has about a foot long train and a wonderful shawl collar. Very warm and comfy. The project took me about 4 months to do. Stitches used were single crochet, front post, 7 inch sc ribbing along the edge that worked into the shawl collar, which was made up of sc, hdc and dc and then working down to the rest of the sc ribbing which is why the project took me so long to do. Other stitches were a shell stitch of 10 dc's with a picot stitch at the top.
