Wow that long!
Created By: Jennifer Roth
Well, my story started when I was 10 yrs old or so. To begin with I'm left handed and come from a family of very creative and talented people; so with that in mind, my mother decided that it was time to teach me how to crochet. I was a very difficult but determined student. So for years, literally, I practiced with no luck or success and much frustration. Over the years I would pick up my crochet needle and thread and try over and over. I was very determined since I had three children and wanted to make them all blankets. Finally, after my last child and many more attempts I realized that all that time I had only been using one basic stitch, the chain stitch. Boy, that sure is very embarrassing to admit to you.
After that it was cake making booties, beanies, scarves and much more. I was even able to teach my 10 yr old. I felt that I probably could teach a anyone, no one could possibly as difficult as I was. The moral of this tale is thatdetermination can really take you far.
