Crocheting saved my sanity

Hi,
I have been crocheting for many years. I am a disabled women. I had to stop for a brief period of time but was able to start again. When I crochet it makes me forget about everything else that is going on in my life that is stressful. I have made many gifts. I am also active in a medical resarch foundation. I have made pieces for them to auction. I am planning on making some pieces to give to our main headquarters in Chicago.
They give these things to people who are down in the dumps. I know what that's like because I've been there. The piece that I did for the auction is all diffrent kinds of squares put together. I had alot of encouragement from a lot of diffrent people. Whenever I fell like I am going to lose it I pick up my crochet hook. I will have my last auction project available until the middle of September. I will take a ptcture of it.
