Prayer Shawl

Me and two other co-workers decided to make a prayer shawl for a former co-worker who was diagnosed with cancer.We got the pattern from your website. One girl worked on it for awhile then I worked on it and then the other girl. Then we brought it into work and put the whole shawl together and a week later we went out to lunch with our friend Becky who was dying of cancer. She was to say it, beyond words when we gave it to her. She sent us a card a week later telling us how much she loved the shawl. It was definitely a combined effort of work and love and we all felt so good about the project knowing how much she would love it and use it. Unfortunately she passed away about 2 months after we gave it to her. But knowing she had it for that two months and used it made it all worthwhile for the three of us. And I know given the same circumstance (hopefully not) we would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you for having that pattern on your website for us to be able to do this for our friend, Maureen
