My story

HI there!
I am a 34 year old female. I am legally blind. I am unable to drive and we live in a small town of about 450 people. So getting out and about is a challenge as i must wait for this person or that person to go to town.
My mother in law taught me to crochet the basic stitch about 8 months ago. I was so excited when i ACTUALLY made a granny square! I showed everyone!
I encounter depression and anxiety. I am always up and about doing this or that. Crocheting has helped me to sit still! When i get working on a project, i do not want to get up! So it has been a blessing for me to have learned this great hobby!
I have made many scarves, toys and hats so far! My kids, husband, cousins, friends, and other family members have benefited from me learning ! I have made countless items for different people!
I would recommend The Lions brand yarn to anyone new or old to crocheting! I love it!
