Our Queen of Knitting

My Mom is our family's Queen of Knitting.
I starting learning to knit when I was five, home from school with a cold, and bored. So, my Mom taught me to cast on. Through the years she also taught my two sisters to knit also.
But the fun part is that when each of her 10 Grandchildren get old enough she has taught them too. This past Christmas we all got together at a knitting cafe to knit. There was my Mom, three daughters, and five granddaughters. And as we knit the youngest sat with Grandma and learned to knit.
(The tenth grandchild is a boy and he has already asked to learn too. I see another knitting adventure soon in our future).
