self taught
Created By: Suzan Atterbury
Last summer I decided to teach myself how to knit, I have aleays wanted to learn. I bought all the equipment needed, sat down with a book and needles and tried, and tried I started with dish cloths, made a bundle of them alot had holes in them but I did not care, I had made them and was very impressed with myself, now I am knitting afghans, scarfs, baby blankets, and I am now knitting a bag which I will felt. I don't know if this became a solution to anything, I just enjoy it! Everyone that I know has benefited they get knitted presents from me, and they have asked for them and I love making them. I have learned never give up, just rip out and start over which I have done over and over. I come home from working and after dinner I will get the knitting out and work on it, it helps releve tension for me and have been known to fall alseep with the needles in my hand!
