n we shared our knowledge: she taught me some computer skills& I taught her to Knit.
Created By: Joan M Wilkicki
When my friend of 35 yrs. decided she had too much pain to walk or go out to dinner or to the movies or whatever, she was forcing me into immobility as well as herself. She just gave up-she didn't want to try.So she sits in front of the boob tube& pretends she's having fun.Not me! I told her I was bored with TV;so I got on the Web& found all sorts of goodies. But most of all, MY granddaughter asked me to teach her to knit. When she came to my house she also came to use the computer. Then she taught me some computer skills & I taught her to knit.Never would this have happened if my old friend(who also can't knit)was trying to stay mobile. But I've always been curious so the computer was a natural progression for me. My granddaughter is still knitting ,so I'm hoping to get her interested inSocks for her family & herself.We'llsee.
