Knittting With MS

I have Multiple Sclerosis on April 18 I got an MS attack that closed my hands for a month time I was given high does of steriods and thought I would never be able to move my fingers again,now one year later I got this thought of taking knitting classes and use it like therapy for my hands. I have been
inspired by the beautiful colors and patterns Lion Brand has. I have just finished my first project,
and am on my second project knitting yellow mittens. The nicest thing is I met a very nice freind who also enjoys knitting. We make a day for ourselves and meet every tuesday and enjoy shopping for our yarns for our next project. Knitting has given me a new path in life that I can enjoy with my hands. It gives me a sense of accoumplishment which is something I thought I lost
through my disease. And everyday I thank god for putting knitting in my hands and most of all a wonderful freind to enjoy it with.
