How Crocheting changed my Life

Almost 3 years ago I moved by myself to a little island off the coast of Vancouver Island. The winter was long and wet and windy and I needed something to keep my hands out of the cookie jar.
I began crocheting ponchos, hats, scarves, shrugs and afghans - my next dilema was the mound of items I had made. No problem, in the spring when the tourists started arriving on the island I set up a booth at the farmers market every Saturday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. What a success!!! I met the locals, visited with the curious tourists and sold most of my projects. I now have lots of friends and enough money to buy more yarn to get me through this winter.
I just had knee replacement surgery and without the ability to crochet with the market as my reward I may have gone crazy!!!!!
Thank You Lion Brand for your huge choice of yarns, textures and colors. I survived!!!!
