My Knitting Story

I was in a serious car accident recently. I was confined to a wheelchair for several months. I still had use of my hands and I put them to good use. I went online and found free patterns from the Lion Brand website. I also placed several orders of yarn from them. The total rewards of my time, 9 toddler ponchos, 7 pairs of magic stripe socks, an Aran knit afghan, 4 sweaters, and finally the Color Wave Afghan. My confinement seemed to pass quickly and I felt productive. Not only that but people really appreciated the hand-made gifts. And...it kept me busy!
