For the Love of My Daughter

Over 20 yrs. ago I was a single parent raising 4 children. I worked in an office and tried to stretch a dollar as best as I could. I wanted my only daughter to have the beautiful bed dolls like other girls her age have but there wasn't much money for extras like that.
I decided to teach myself to crochet and yes my first project was a bed doll for my daughter. Needless to say now in her 30's and children of her own, she has many many dolls that I have crocheted for her over the years.
During this time by word of mouth I started getting orders and was able to make extra money on the side crocheting dolls for friends and co-workers.
Crocheting had a wonderful impact on my family. The beautiful dolls, which my daughter still loves to receive, will hold loving memories for both of us for a long long time. Extra pin money and especially a hobby I found to be very relaxing .I look forward to each new project and now enjoy crocheting for my grandchildren.
