Crocheting definitly changed my life and for the better. I learned to crochet about 3 years ago from my elderly grandmother and it has become an addiction. I am the only member of my family to crochet and/or knit. Everyone is always interested to see what I am working on and so amazed that I can make a garment out of yarn and in so little time and they are always requesting scarves and hats and shawls and I am happy to oblige. I have benefited the most from learning to crochet. I can now make afghans, hats and baby booties to give to charities, hospitals and families in need when money is tight and I can't give financially. Being able to crochet something for someone who really needs it is the most rewarding benefit of crocheting for me. I can't believe it took me 23 years to finally figure out that crochet is so cool!!
