A Passion for Knitting
I never new my sister was a great knitter, till after she died, then my younger sister Carol came down and I found out she learned how to knit from Mary my deceased sister.
My passion came from seeing the knitting shows and how it always fasinated me on how to knit yarn into a great purse, wash cloth and shawls, and clothes.
I was determined to learn this fasicinating project and just sat down got a book, and began knitting until it looked like I thought it should look as far as stitches guage.
I knitted a beautiful eyelash purse and stitched it to an old handle, and I just love it. I replaced my old purse with the new one and off to church we went, boy was I surprised everyone loved the purse and wanted it.
Was I surprised I didn't think it looked that great until another one of my friends a knitter, spotted it and raved and raved about my purse, I could have sold it right away.
I now knit for profit and cannot wait to start another item to wear or carry. I love new things and love to show them off.
We will be selling our items at the Market Place soon and I know I will sell them all, especially to those who love knitted purses and hand made itesm.]
What a treasure being able to knit and see the results almost immediately.
