My days with Clara

I love my job sitting with elderly people, Clara was special, as they all are, she inspired me to crochet. I'm left-handed, so it was difficult for me to learn from a right-handed person, Clara had the patience I will never aspire too; Clara was 90
years old,with terminal cancer, when her daughter hired me to stay during the day at her home.
Clara taught me much more than crochet. She was very helpful, I was not a great student, but did teach me the basic of crochet before her death. She took great pride in her potholders. She finished the last one 2 days prior to her death. After Claras' death I had enough confidence to go to Michaels for a few crochet classes and the rest is history. My family always has something cozy to wear or a throw for TV watching. I love yarn and I was very blessed to know Clara.
