The Lion in Me

A few years ago I had retired, and was getting bored. My husband saw an article for knitting classes, and away I have gone.
I never realized what a change it would have in my life. I am a yarn-a-holic.
I have needles in my hands constantly. Don't bother me unless you want to hear my "roar". I started with the blessed scarfs, and have since gone from those to hats, and handbags - especially the felted items. I am making washcloths now, even Lions' need to wash their paws.
Knitting, for me, has brought me a contentment that I never knew I had or needed.
I think the only one who hasn't benefited it my hubby, but then again, he got me going on it, didn't he. Complain? Not him, I think he enjoys seeing me busy.
