Knitting for sanity
Created By: Lori Pritchard
I have always known how to knit since childhood. It's one of those things my grandmother taught me. When getting married and having my family, I put these things aside as I didn't have time for this enjoyment.
I returned to college after my sons were in grade school and mangaed to get satisfactory grades. As the semesters grew more frustrating, I decided to pick up my kniting needles as a way of relaxing. I soon developed a habit of when things in my books didn't make sense or my eyes were tired of reading picking up my knitting needles. I soon taught myself how to knit mittens on two needles and have made a pair in two days for a few weeks. My sons were saying they would have a paiar for every day of the week soon.
I sold my first pair this week and wasn't intending to sell them. I just happened to have them in my pocket and showed them to a freind. They were my favorites so now I need to make some for myself. I was then asked to make a pair for her daughter.
