MOM
Created By: D Delphina
Many of us have issues that surround our families and some of us have more than others. My mother and I don't get along and haven't been on speaking terms for many years now and although I don't miss the arguing, she is always in my life on a daily basis. I crochet baby blankets and am contemplating more projects to do for my friends and family and although I am a busy person I hope to someday soon be able to do more with charity. My mother doesn't know but I treasure the gift she gave to me. She is the one who introduced crocheting to me, she confused me because she referred to single crochet, double crochet and triple crochet as: small stick, medium stick and big stick. I was so confused when I read a pattern years ago about sc, dc and trc. I was glad there was a reference guide in the back of the book, had there not been I would have been so lost that I would have stuck to traditional patterns. My crcheting give me peace of mind, it like a mindless task that helps me with my sanity. Thank you MOM.
