I just couldn't get it...
Created By: H Heather
When I was really young I wanted to learn how to crochet. My mom tried to teach me but I just couldn't get it. A few months ago I attempted to learn again. I bought myself a "I taught myself to crochet" book and all the supplies I'd need. I wanted to make my new husband a blanket so we went to your web site to look for patterns we liked. He said that he liked the diamond throw- only he wants it big enough to fit on our queen size bed! I am working-and it's slow-and i am about half done! I can't wait to see what it looks like when i'm done. Sometimes I get sick of doing the same pattern over and over. (Essentially what the blanket is it is 16 squares that make up one block) and I am making 49 blocks. I am still pretty slow and the squares take about 10-15 minutes to make. When the progress starts to slow done I just take the blocks that i have finished and lay them out and say, "That's what your blanket is going to look like!" It keeps me motivated.
