Friendships

As my children and granchildren have grown and no longer need me to make their mittens and sweaters I looked around for another outlet for my handy work. I was lucky enough to find a group of Ladies at our Senior Center that meet and knit for Charities. There are many places that need our work and I met a lovely group of woman all older than I at the time I first joined. I was 62 Now at 73 I have a circle of good Friends that I have learned at lot from both about knitting and crocheting and Life
We all share our joys and sorrows.
We are currantly working on knit hats to be sent to the troops in Iraq. Yesterday I dropped off 72 baby hats and 5 baby shawls to the hospital for the nursery that I have made.
I was not surprised but very pleased to see how active this group has been.
