Feeling sorry for myself

I had a mini stroke 4 yrs ago as i have Lupus ,felt this was the end of knitting ,my friend called told me about these Orphans in Moldova and the more i thought about this ,the more i wanted to help .nothing wrong with my fingers .These kids have benefited by the hand knitted hats and bootees and has opened my life to see the needs of others ,knitted thousands of bootees so simple to do ,now have quite a few friends knitting ,would never have asked anyone before .
