Carolyn's Felted Suitcase Purse

This was my first felted project. My niece is pictured at the laundromat, where she had to hold my hand through the process of deliberately "ruining" a perfectly good piece of knitting...even if it was huge! I used Lion Wool, Fancy Fur, and Fun Fur. I also made it up as I went along, but I think you can tell that. Since it was Carolyn's purse, she picked the colors, and the yarns, and did the job as only an 18 year old could. It was great fun to work on, and I learned so much about felting. Now if I could just convince her to let me cut it down to size!
