I use magic stripe yarn and the sock pattern. I knit 2 , purl 2, for the top of the sock first 3 rows are the magic stripe yarn then 1 row fancy fur,Continue for 5-1/2 inches then cut fancy fur and just continue 2x2 rib until 6". Then continue the rest of the sock.
