Summer shore...for a little New York Yankee fan

I found this pattern in one of my many books and changed the colors to reflect my little friend's love for the color blue, and the ocean (a little green is in there). Working it in strips was easy...forced me to keep my tension the same throughout. I also embroidered the NY Yankee logo...her favorite baseball team...and the #2 for its captain, her idol, Derek Jeter! When I gave it to her, her eyes popped! The 8 year old was speechless...but I received a huge hug and smile.
The shell pattern was easy and I was very happy with the final product!
IGNORE THE UPPER LEFT...SOMETHING WAS ON THE SCANNER!
