Socks are made from one skein of handpainted...
Created By: Sonja McAllister
Socks are made from one skein of handpainted Monet 100% Virgin Wool yarn in Champlain Sunset. I also used Lion Brand double pointed needles, sizes 5 and 6. I find myself looking at the colors in this yarn over and over, and I keep discovering more colors! The socks are a pleasure to look at, and soft and warm to wear. I also like the feeling of the dp needles - they are flexible and have a nice feel. They also don't split the yarn! And these socks are for ME! I used a free pattern I found online, called "You're Putting me On Socks", very simple, knit from the toe up in stockinette stitch (size 6) and the cuff in 1 X 1 rib(size 5).
