Teenage Son at Boarding School ...
I elaborated the "Winter Night" design
to use four colors: Navajo, Williamsburg,
Blue Ridge, and Deco.
I had never done an afghan or any piece
this big. I am a very slow knitter, as
a quadraplegic my fine-motor skills are
atrophying and I prop the right needle
between my knees to use my right hand
for the yarn tension.
Now my other two children want afghans
too. No good deed goes unpunished!
